Crownhill Development

Plot 4 – Sold

This and the adjacent plot 3 (which has been sold) are the most like the completed houses in the adjacent Lansdown Ridge development in that they are over three floors, with bedroom accommodation split between upper and lower floors and main living areas on the middle, entrance level. Externally, as with the other houses, there is the enclosed parking courtyard, with the two storey façade on the approach side imparting a relatively imposing presence. The garden is also “front line” to the countryside (Green Belt protected), with a stair connecting it directly to the deck projecting from the main living floor above.

The upper floor contains the master bedroom suite (which probably commands the best outlook of all the houses) with dressing area and ensuite with separate bath and shower. This floor also has two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom (also with separate shower) between them.

The middle, entrance level is given over mainly to the 40ft long open plan living/dining/kitchen area, again taking full advantage of the views and with expansive sliding glass doors leading onto the wide deck. There is a spacious entrance hall with cloakroom and coats cupboard and a separate room, useful as a “cosy” sitting room, or playroom/nursery for the younger family. There is also a large utility room with an internal door to the generous double garage which also has plenty of storage space.

The lower floor has a study immediately at the foot of the stair, and two double bedrooms each with ensuites. All rooms are good sizes and take full advantage of the panoramic outlook and good orientation for morning sun. In
addition there is a very useful store room.

This plot benefits from a separate ‘barn’ that houses bat friendly features in the roof space, as required by the planning consent, but also provides very useful space that could function as a home office or games room.
